Tycho Brahe (14 December 1546 – 24 October 1601) was a Icons-flag-dk.png Danish astronomer. He was born in Scania, now part of Icons-flag-se.png Sweden. He because famous as an astronomer while in Prague, Icons-flag-cz.png Czech Republic before building an observatory in Benátky nad Jizerou. There, from 1600 until his death in 1601, he was assisted by Johannes Kepler.
