The location of 119 Tauri.

119 Tauri, also known as CE Tauri, is a red supergiant located in the constellation Taurus.

Properties[edit]

CE Tauri is close enough that its distance can be determined accurately by parallax and so the actual diameter can be determined directly from the angular diameter. - its diameter has been measured to be between 587 to 608[1] D. It has a temperature of 3,820 degrees kelvin, a luminosity 66,000 times greater, and a mass 14.37 times greater.[2]
